Bonus Recipe: Sweetheart Brownies

These cookies are so simple to make and kids love to help. After they’re done, just pile the left over edges from cutting the brownies onto a big plate, pour your little helpers a glass of milk, and get to work on those Valentine cards!

Sweetheart Brownies

36, 2-inch graham crackers, crushed
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 16-ounce package semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Generously grease an 8 x 12 jelly roll baking pan. Stir together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add the chocolate chips and graham cracker crumbs and mix until well blended. Spoon the batter (it will be very stiff) into the greased pan. Lay a piece of wax paper over the dough and press gently until the pan is covered with an even layer of dough. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool completely in the pan. Use a 2-inch cookie cutter or a butter knife to cut out heart shapes or bite-sized brownies. Makes about a dozen medium, heart-shaped brownies.
